Catch Up... Valentine's Party

In February in the middle of the serious snow storms here.... Haylee was invited to a Valentine's Party. We went. The snow and everything was NOT going to stop Haylee from going to Chole's party. It was so much fun. They decorated sugar cookies and played dress up. All in all it was a fantastic party.



Calan just wanted to eat the sprinkle jars. He would reach out and grab them and put them in his mouth. It was very cute. He tried to decorate cookies, but the "sprinkles" never made it to the cookie... only to his mouth.
Haylee is a cookie decorating veteran. The other kids would slap some frosting on them and eat them. Not Haylee... she carefully would decorate them with frosting, sprinkles and little candies... then set it aside and get another cookie to do it all over again. The one in the picture she worked on the longest and the whole time was talking about how much Adam was going to love his cookie... when we got home she went upstairs and shared her cookie with Adam. And the "I hate sugar guy" ate every last bite. It was really cute to watch...

I especially liked this picture. The tender way Haylee put her hand on Chole's face and the sweet smiles on the girls... They are just adorable.
